Shep Associates manufacture
(to special order only) a very special custom In Line console which is fully
discrete, class A.
It can be supplied in various sizes.
Shep have supplied two consoles (with slightly differing specifications)
the first one to Japan which was a 64 input 48 buss, 64 monitor with 10
aux. sends. This was fitted with Neve Flying Faders Automation
The second console was a 40 input 24 buss fitted with Uptown Automation.
For this console we designed a dynamics module for each channel.
Thie Lionheart console is designed for the high end studios who are very
demanding when it comes to the Audio image that they expect from such a
console. It is hand built in the UK and is therefore priced in the high
end, but it does give any studio who wishes to be a cut above the others
the option to offer their clients exceptional quality and sound clarity.
With a Lionheart installed, we know that you will never have difficulty
in fully booking your studio.

SPECIFICATIONS
FRAME SIZES:
- Can be specified by the
Customer typical sizes are 36, 48, 64, 80
- The profile of the end cheek can be slightly modified, it is only limited
by the sizes of the standard modules that we use.
PATCHBAY
- This is a Mosses and Mitchell
bantam (TT) patchbay and can be on either end of the console or Remote.
ROUTING
- On each 34828 Module there
is:-
- A choice of 24 or 48 busses for Track routing. Plus Pan and Phantom
Power switch.
EQUALISER
- Can be a choice of the Shep
4 Band SN8 (Class A) or the SN12 4 band (Class A/B). The SN12 has the option
of Rupert Neve's Class A output stage and torroidial Output Transformer.
AUX. / MONITOR Module
- The 34828 module has:-
10 Aux. Sends with pre /post, they are arranged as 8 Mono sends and two
stereo sends, which have Pan controls. They can be routed to channel or
monitor path.
MONITOR SECTION
- With P & G short throw
plastic conductive fader, Solo push-button, monitor cut, PFL push-button,
Fader Swap, Monitoring of 2T1 and 2T2, Tape / Channel selector switch
CHANNEL SWITCH MODULE
- Selector switches for:
Insert in /out
- Pre /Post Insert
- Insert on Monitor
- Eq to Monitor
CHANNEL MONITOR SWITCH MODULE
- 2 Track monitor 1/2, 3 /4
- Solo Safe
- Solo
- PFL
- Channel cut
CENTRE SECTION FACILITIES
- This consist of several
modules which handle all the monitoring, Master, Control Room and SLS.
Plus Cue mix, Stereo Rev Returns, Aux. Masters, T/B etc.
METERING
- Can be VU Meters, PPM's,
or Bargraphs, customer to specify.
DYNAMICS MODULE
- The Shep S2151 dynamics
module can be fitted to all channels (or just some) but if this option
is required it must be specified at the time of ordering as the end cheek
profile is larger to accommodate the module.
